Registration Information

Registration Criteria:
In order to register you must be a mid-level professional with at least ten years experience in health policy. In case of a sell out, preference will be given to individuals who have not previously participated in an AcademyHealth International Health Study Tour.

Fees

What Is Included in the Tour Registration Fee:
The registration fee includes the expertise of a study leader and international hosts, all scheduled tour activities and tour materials, hotel accommodations for 6 nights, selected meals (approximately 2 meals per day), and local transportation to/from tour events.

The fee is based on a minimum of 12 participants. AcademyHealth reserves the right to cancel the tour 30 days in advance if it is undersubscribed. In the event of cancellation by AcademyHealth, tour registration fees will be refunded in full.

What Is Not Included in the Tour Registration Fee:
Registrants will arrange and assume costs for their own transportation to and from the tour country, including transportation to/from the airport/hotel. Registrants will also assume the costs of all non-scheduled meals and non-tour related transportation.

Payment:
A deposit of 50% the registration fee ($2,750 for members and $3,125 for non-members) is required at the time of registration in order to reserve your place. Payment must be received in full no later than 30 days prior to the start of the tour. Payment can be made by check payable to AcademyHealth or by credit card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, or Discover).

Cancellations and Refunds:
All cancellations must be received in writing within 14 days of registration in order to receive a full refund. Registrants canceling more than 14 days after registration will receive a full refund less a $500 processing fee.

There will be no refunds for cancellations occurring less than 30 days prior to the start of the tour or for unused portions of the tour, including but not limited to, missed meals and hotel nights.
