Clark Ruttinger is the Director of Workforce Research as well as the Director of Utah’s Nursing Workforce Information Center for the Utah Medical Education Council. In this capacity, Mr. Ruttinger tracks supply, demand and educational program data about Utah's healthcare workforce and works with stakeholders to develop usable information to better inform policy and strategic planning decisions. A major goal of this work is to facilitate communication and collaboration between public and private entities as they pursue common workforce planning efforts across the State of Utah. Clark served as President of the National Forum of State Nursing Workforce Centers from 2019-2020 and was a co-author of the 2020 National Nursing Workforce Survey published in the Journal of Nursing Regulation in April 2021. Mr. Ruttinger has a Masters of Public Administration with emphasis in Program and Policy Evaluation. He also holds a Masters of Business Administration with a certificate in Information Systems, both from the University of Utah.
