Dr. Goldberg is a mixed methods researcher with an emphasis on organizational development and quality improvement in healthcare. She is an Associate Professor in the Department of Health Administration and Policy at George Mason University and faculty for the Center for Evidence-Based Behavioral Health (CEBBH). Her research focuses on the occupational safety and health of the health workforce and implementation of evidenced-based practices. She has expertise in survey research and qualitative research methods, specifically case study and grounded theory approaches. Her experience includes conducting research and evaluation of healthcare services for the federal government, including agencies under the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS), the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), and the Department of Defense (DoD).
