Meredith Sugarman is a person living with multiple sclerosis and has over a decade of experience in health research in academic, clinical, and public health settings. As a patient advocate, Meredith has served on the board for Disability Rights Louisiana, was a health equity fellow for Families USA, and is an active member of the RIDE council for the Accelerated Cure Project.

In her professional work, she led several research projects funded by CDC, PCORI and NIH. Her research has extended across health equity, oncology, chronic conditions, immunology, digital health, and neurology. Meredith holds an MPH from Tulane University School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine.
