Health Equity DataJam
Hosted by AcademyHealth, the 2023 Health Equity DataJam invites participants to transform raw data from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services into actionable insights and digital tools to bridge disparities of health, including those exacerbated by the COVID-19 pandemic, Long COVID, and infection-associated chronic illnesses to ensure equitable access and wellness for all. Enhancing Systems of Care for Children with Medical Complexity (CMC) Coordinating Center
AcademyHealth, in partnership with Boston Children’s Hospital and FamilyVoices, is leading a Coordinating Center to support five Health Resources & Services Administration (HSRA)-funded demonstration sites to optimize the health and well-being for children with medical complexity and their families while also achieving health equity for these populations
The Role of Homelessness and Supportive Housing in Health Care Disparities among Adults in Medicaid
With support from the National Institute on Minority Health and Health Disparities (NIMHD), Rutgers University and the University of Pittsburgh, in collaboration with AcademyHealth, aim to examine the potential of permanent supportive housing programs to mitigate health disparities among Medicaid enrollees experiencing homelessness.
Research on Pre-Hospital Diagnostic Delay
In partnership with the Gordon and Betty Moore Foundation, AcademyHealth supports the funding of research addressing pre-hospital diagnostic delays related to cancer, sepsis, and acute cardiovascular events.

Medicaid Outcomes Distributed Research Network: Equity and Quality Improvement for Medicaid Programs (MODRN EQUIP)
AcademyHealth's Evidence-Informed State Health Policy Institute, as the Administrative Coordinating Center for the Medicaid Outcomes Distributed Research Network, supports the University of Pittsburgh and 11 additional state-university research teams to develop opioid use disorder (OUD) quality measures that can be constructed at the provider level, incorporate patient experience, and center health equity.
