Abby Mulcahy, Ph.D. | AcademyHealth

Dr. Abby Mulcahy is a fellow at the Center to Improve Veteran Involvement in care at the VA Portland health Care System. Abby completed their PhD in public health policy at Oregon State University. Abby holds a BA in political science from the University of Wyoming and an MPH in public health policy and management from Texas A&M University.

Dr. Mulcahy’s research focuses on multiply-minoritized populations and access to health care. Their prior work has explored health care utilization by transgender adults living with living with disabilities.

Dr. Mulcahy is a 2021 AcademyHealth Delivery System Science Fellowship fellow.
