Overview

This webinar provided information about a new funding opportunity under the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation’s Research in Transforming Health and Healthcare Systems (RTHS) program, managed by AcademyHealth. The RTHS program funds rigorous, empirical studies that evaluate or predict the potential effects of policies or policy changes intended to transform health and health care systems.

The new call for proposals (CFP) will support community-engaged research and policy analysis projects that examine the design, implementation, and/or impact of public policies related to the affordability of care, with the aim of improving the affordability of care for communities most impacted by structural racism, inequities, and discrimination. During this webinar, staff from the Foundation and AcademyHealth provided information about the CFP’s focus and the application process, and answered questions from session participants.
