Interest Group members have the opportunity to meet online and face-to-face. Through the Interest Group Web-based discussion forums, members can connect with and learn from their colleagues across the country. Each Interest Group is provided with a Web-based discussion forum to facilitate on-going communication throughout the year, and each forum is moderated by members of the Interest Group. Interest Groups also meet annually at AcademyHealth meetings.

AcademyHealth members have the opportunity to connect with and learn from their colleagues across the country via Interest Group-specific listservs. Each Interest Group (IG) member is granted access to this members-only benefit in order to facilitate on-going communication throughout the year.

Each Interest Group is governed by volunteer members that help facilitate membership engagement and plan events throughout the year. The advisory committee is selected through a call for nominations process that takes place each summer.
