Webinar: Promoting Accountability for Maternal Health Equity through Measurement

Persistent and growing mortality gaps between Non-Hispanic Black and other birthing people in the U.S. underscore the urgent need for equity-centered approaches to health care quality measurement. This session will introduce the Birth Equity Accountability through Measurement (BEAM) initiative, a partnership between the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) and The Praxis Project. The BEAM initiative centers Black birthing people’s voices to advance a national strategy for measuring and achieving birth equity.
