Juhaeri Juhaeri, Ph.D., is Vice President and Head of Epidemiology and Benefit-Risk at Sanofi. Juhaeri is an Epidemiologist and Statistician with over 20 years of experience in epidemiologic research in academia and in pharmaceutical industry. He joined Sanofi in 2001 where he established a Real World Data system for epidemiologic research and signal detection. He has been leading various public-private partnership projects in the fields of Pharmacovigilance and Epidemiology, as well as quantitative Benefit-Risk Methods and signal detection. He was a member of the Steering Committee of IMI PROTECT Project, a European Consortium on Pharmacovigilance and Pharmacoepidemiology, and a leader of one of the case studies to evaluate various Benefit-Risk methods. He is Industry Lead of Methods Working Group in IMI-PREFER, a project on patient preferences in Benefit-Risk Assessments during the Drug Life Cycle.
Juhaeri is an Adjunct Faculty at the Gillings School of Global Public Health, University of North Carolina Chapel Hill, North Carolina. He received his Ph.D. in Epidemiology from the same university.
