Attendees had the opportunity to think critically about the role of the doula and how the doula workforce was being enshrined in policy. In this session, health equity researcher Kene Orakwue shared preliminary findings from their work investigating doula-related policies. In addition, Dr. Orakwue shared insights on how they established a career in health equity.
