Members were invited to join an exclusive AcademyHealth members-only town hall meeting led by President and CEO Aaron Carroll and Director of Advocacy Josh Caplan, where the session took a deep dive into the pressing challenges affecting the health services and health policy research field. This interactive session addressed the status and impacts of proposed Medicaid cuts, appropriations, federal funding freezes, and federal workforce reductions. It also explored advocacy strategies and resources to navigate the current environment. This was an opportunity for the community to come together, share experiences, and chart a course. The town hall also provided an open dialogue with participants, who came prepared with questions for an engaging discussion.
