Community engagement is essential to advancing cancer prevention and control. This webinar brought together Mya Roberson, Ph.D., assistant professor of health policy and management, and Laura Crandon, founder of Touch4Life, for a candid conversation on building trust, fostering meaningful partnerships, and designing research that reflects the priorities of communities most impacted by cancer. The session highlighted models for community co-investigation and explore how researchers and community partners can work together throughout the research process. Participants identified strategies for building trust and sustaining partnerships in cancer prevention and control initiatives.
