The Friends of AHRQ is a voluntary coalition of more than 450 organizations that support the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ). These groups are either the producers or end-users of the health services research developed by AHRQ.
The Friends of AHRQ advocates on behalf of the agency to Congress. Activities include:
- Sending joint letters to key members of Congress;
- Making joint visits to members of Congress and their staff; and
- Holding briefings to demonstrate the importance of AHRQ research.
If your association, university, or corporation would like to join the Friends of AHRQ, please contact the advocacy team for more information.
