eGEMS
eGEMs (Generating Evidence & Methods to improve patient outcomes), a peer-reviewed, open access journal of the EDM Forum, was created to accelerate research and quality improvement using electronic health data. Launched in 2013, eGEMs has published more than 100 papers featuring cutting-edge projects from leaders in the field and is a premier journal for approaches to redesigning the health system, including methods, interoperability, and governance. eGEMs is led by an editorial board of experts from across the country.
eGEMs is currently fully available through the NIH National Library of Medicine’s (NLM) PubMed Central and is searchable in PubMed. eGEMs is also indexed in Google Scholar, Bing, the Directory of Open Access Journals, EBSCOhost, and is included in the NLM Catalog. Submissions are accepted and published on a rolling basis.
