The AcademyHealth Innovators-in-Residence Program offers paid fellowships for individuals with unique experience or expertise relevant to the translation and dissemination of research findings.  Innovators work ‘in residence’ at AcademyHealth’s Washington, D.C. offices for one to three months, contributing to relevant AcademyHealth activities while completing an independent project that helps reinvent the ways we move research findings forward into policy and practice.  Supported by Kaiser Permanente, the Innovators-in-Residence Program promotes novel approaches to research translation and dissemination that have the potential to improve care for safety net and other vulnerable populations.  The goals of the program are:

  • To explore innovative approaches that help move research findings forward for the benefit of vulnerable and/or underserved populations.
  • To help AcademyHealth, its members, and the field learn from individuals with unique experience or expertise relevant to research translation and dissemination.

This is an excellent opportunity to collaborate with AcademyHealth staff and other leaders in health services research to further the use of evidence-based research for the benefit of traditionally underserved populations.

Please note: New applications for the Innovators-in-Residence Program are not being accepted at this time.  Please check back for future updates.
