Each year, the Annual Research Meeting (ARM) brings together thousands of people working to improve health and health care — from researchers and policymakers to health system leaders, data scientists, and community partners. For more than 40 years, the ARM has been the trusted forum for sharing evidence, methods, and insights that guide better decisions and stronger systems.
The 2026 AcademyHealth Annual Research Meeting (ARM), to be held May 30–June 2 in Seattle, will explore the overarching theme “Rigor and Relevance Driving Action.” Sign up below to be notified via email about conference updates as they become available.

The 2026 Call for Presentations invites work that pairs rigor with relevance to inform real-world decisions. Whether you generate data, translate findings into practice, shape policy, deliver care, or experience the health system firsthand, the 2026 ARM is the forum to share work that drives action in health and health care. Submission types include podium presentations, panels, posters, and student posters and are encouraged from across sectors — researchers, clinicians, policymakers, community partners, innovators, and those who rarely see their work represented at national research meetings.
New for 2026, we want to highlight cross-disciplinary collaboration, responsible AI and data science, and patient and community leadership. We welcome traditional and emerging approaches, from policy studies to implementation projects, that demonstrate how evidence can create meaningful change across the health system.
Submission Deadline: January 6, 2026 at 5:00 p.m. ET
