Alyson Martinez is a Research Assistant at AcademyHealth, where she assists with general project management on a collaborative Advanced Fellowship program based on the Learning Health System (LHS) Core Research Competencies for Health Services Research developed by the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ) with the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). She also supports a project with the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) and the National Alliance of State and Territorial AIDS Directors (NASTAD) related to increasing state capacity for Medicaid core set reporting. Prior to working at AcademyHealth, Alyson worked for the Institute for Public Health Innovation as a Case Interviewer and Data Analyst, supporting her local health department with COVID-19 investigations. She graduated in 2021 from George Mason University with a Bachelor of Science in Community Health.
