Angela S. Hagan, Ph.D., M.P.A., serves as Director of Business Intelligence on Humana’s Health Equity & Community Engagement team. Her work focuses on insights related to health disparities, their drivers, and actionable levers, along with the policy environment and guidance related to health equity.  Previous work at Humana includes leading population health insights with a focus on health-related quality of life and health-related social needs, and member clinical engagement strategies.

Prior to joining Humana in 2014, Hagan worked with a variety of nonprofit and education organizations in research and development, marketing, communications and PR functions. An Illinois native, Hagan holds a B.A. in economics from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. She claims Louisville (Humana's headquarters) as her adopted hometown after earning both her Master of Public Administration (public policy focus) and Ph.D. in Urban and Public Affairs from the University of Louisville.
