Asya Agulnik is an Associate Member at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in the Department of Global Pediatric Medicine, with a joint appointment in the Department of Pediatrics, Division of Critical Care. Agulnik is the Director of the St. Jude Global Critical Care and Euro Regional Programs. Dr. Agulnik is a clinician scientist, with clinical expertise in pediatric onco-critical care and research focused on how to implement, scale-up, and sustain interventions to improve hospital care and outcomes for children with cancer in resource-limited settings. She leads Proyecto EVAT, a quality improvement collaborative in Latin America to support implementation of Pediatric Early Warning Systems (PEWS)—an intervention to improve early identification of clinical deterioration in hospitalized children with cancer.
