Carolina Torres is the Spanish Community Coordinator at Refugee Community Partnership, a role she's held since 2023. Carolina is originally from Tegucigalpa, Honduras, and holds a bachelor’s degree in architecture. After moving to the U.S. in 2013, her experience as an immigrant along with the opportunity to volunteer in the medical field serving Latino communities since 2017, inspired her to change her career path.
Today, her work at Refugee Community Partnership allows her to learn from different cultures and gain a deeper understanding of the journeys immigrants and refugees take as they build new lives in the U.S.
Carolina Torres is a 2022 grantee of the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation's Community Research for Health Equity program, managed by AcademyHealth.
