Dr. Carolyn Audet is a Professor of Health Policy and Epidemiology at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, TN. She is the Co- Director of the Center for Clinical Quality and Implementation Research, the Vice Chair of Faculty Development in the Department of Health Policy, and the Associate Director of Research in the Vanderbilt Institute for Global Health.

Trained as an anthropologist, epidemiologist, and implementation scientist, Dr. Audet is the PI of several NIH- and CDC-funded grants. Her research focuses on improving testing and treatment outcomes among people living with HIV, establishing systems to support the mental health of health care workers, and testing strategies to increase adoption of timely germline testing for those with breast, pancreatic, and colorectal cancer. She co-leads the Southeastern HIV Implementation Science Hub with Dr. Sales at Emory University, focusing on training new implementation science researchers and developing novel implementation science methods to end the HIV epidemic in the United States. Lastly, she serves as a mentor to junior faculty through multiple training programs at John Hopkins, Washington University in St. Louis, and Vanderbilt University.
