Christian Betancourt is a Medical Service Corps, US Naval Officer, currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Health Services Research (Policy) from George Mason University, Fairfax, VA. He has served in the Navy for over 18 years both as an enlisted and a commissioned Health Care Administrator. In 2011, he completed his masters in Health Services Administration from the University of Central Florida, Orlando, FL. He also worked as a federal employee for the Orlando Veterans Affairs Medical Center as the Administrative Officer for the Mental Health Residential Rehabilitation Treatment Program (MHRRTP) from 2011 to 2014. He returned to active duty in 2014 to serve as the Department Head of the Patient Administration Department and as the Fiscal Officer for the Uniformed Business Office at U.S. Naval Hospital Yokosuka, Japan. From 2017 to 2019, Christian served as the Director of Resource Management (Comptroller) for the Navy Medicine Professional Development Center, Bethesda, MD.
