Christin Iroegbu, PhD, MS, RN, is a T32 postdoctoral fellow at The University of Pennsylvania School of Nursing in the Center for Health Outcomes and Policy Research. Her research interests are in examining how nursing and healthcare organizational factors influence disparities and outcomes for patients with kidney disease across the continuum. Leveraging over 15 years of clinical nursing experience, she plans to build a program of research that ensures nurses are appropriately integrated into value-based care models that empower patients, improve health outcomes, and eliminate health disparities.

Dr. Iroegbu’s work has been funded by Sigma Theta Tau, the Leonard Davis Institute for Health Economics, and the Center for Improving Care Delivery for the Aging. She received her bachelor’s degree at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, her master’s degree at Towson University, and PhD at the University of Pennsylvania School of Nursing.
