Dianne Hasselman joined the National Association of Medicaid Directors (NAMD) as Deputy Executive Director in February 2017. In this position, she manages a broad spectrum of activities including planning NAMD’s public policy and advocacy agenda in coordination with its board of directors, overseeing grant-funded programs, and developing new initiatives. Dianne is also responsible for ensuring that members’ needs are being met, so that they receive maximum value from being a part of NAMD’s network of 56 Medicaid directors.
Prior to joining NAMD, Dianne served as the Executive Director of Federal Programs at the Network for Regional Healthcare Improvement where she led multi-stakeholder initiatives for regional health improvement collaboratives. She also spent over seven years with the Center for Health Care Strategies where she led a variety of technical assistance programs and worked closely with state Medicaid agencies.
Dianne has a Master in the Science of Public Health from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and a B.A. from the University of California at San Diego.
