Emily Chun is a communications intern at AcademyHealth, where she works with the communications team to develop social media graphics, write blog posts, and assist in implementing communications strategies. She is a senior at American University and will graduate in spring 2019 with a B.A. in Public Relations and Strategic Communication and a minor in Graphic Design.
Before joining AcademyHealth, she interned abroad in London at De Facto Communications, a health care and life sciences PR firm, where she assisted with social media, press releases, and PR strategies. She also spent a summer in D.C. interning at Meridian International Center, a nonprofit that runs global exchange programs, working on designing social media content, writing blog posts, and running events. On campus, she currently serves on Executive Board of a She’s the First, a student group that fundraises for global girls’ education.
