Erica Eliason, Ph.D. is an Assistant Professor, Rutgers Center for State Health Policy and Rutgers School of Public Health, Department of Urban-Global Public Health. She is a health services researcher focused on the effects of health policies on maternal, child, and reproductive health and health equity, with a particular focus on Medicaid policies. The majority of her work employs econometric methods to identify the causal effects of policies and relies on analyses of large datasets including national surveys, administrative data, and insurance claims. She has a PhD in Social Policy Analysis and Economics from Columbia University School of Social Work and an MPH in Health Policy and Management from Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health.
