Hadi Kharrazi, M.D., Ph.D., M.S.H.I., is an associate professor of health policy and management at the Johns Hopkins School of Public Health, and the research director of the Johns Hopkins Center for Population Health IT (CPHIT). Dr. Kharrazi's research focuses on the application of informatics in population risk stratification, and the effect of data type and quality in predicting utilization. His expertise includes assessing the needs and impact of health IT on care delivery, designing interoperable and Big Data platforms for population health analytic, and evaluating advanced predictive models for risk stratification using a diverse set of data sources (EHRs, claims, geo-social data).
