Jacqueline Alikhaani is a healthcare consumer, heart survivor, volunteer international patient advocate for heart health, and a Commissioner for the State of California LSTF. 

She served as an inaugural member of the American Heart Association Citizen Scientist Task Force (CSTF), in which she helped to conceptualize and develop cardiovascular research projects that have yielded several clinical trial proposals. 

As a long-time PCORI (Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute) Ambassador, she has years of experience as a Patient-Consumer Peer Reviewer/Advisor for several scientific research proposal funders including for the DoD's Congressionally Directed Medical Research Programs.   She also serves as a research abstract reviewer for Academy Research.

She is a Women Heart Champion and also serves as a Consumer Representative for FDA Ad Comms.  Additional service as a Community Research Engagement ADAPTOR  Patient Partner includes:

Consumer/patient member of G-I-N (Guidelines International Network), NORD (National Organization for Rare Disorders), and RDI (Rare Disease International) Health Equity and Access Resolution Task Force: Towards a World Health Assembly Resolution on Rare Diseases 2025. Her goal/objectives are to help amplify and advance consumer healthcare voices and values. She uses her personal health experiences to serve as a community healthcare research engagement patient-partner and volunteer citizen scientist architect-of-change to help achieve more patient-centered healthcare to improve Diagnosis, Treatment, Prevention and related socioeconomic outcomes for all patients, family members and caregivers.
