Dr. Daw is a quantitative health services and policy researcher. The goal of her research is to inform policies to improve maternal-child health in the United States, particularly for low-income families and Medicaid beneficiaries. She is also the co-lead of the Postpartum Assessment of Health Survey (PAHS), the first multi-state survey on maternal health care and health in the year after birth.

Jamie Daw is a 2019 grantee of the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation's Health Data for Action program, managed by AcademyHealth.
