Josie Fermin was a Research Assistant at AcademyHealth until August 2026. She supported Health Services Improvement to transform health systems to promote equity and improve health outcomes. Her primary project was with the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) related to enhancing care systems for children with medical complexity. A graduate from the University of California, Irvine, Josie earned her Bachelor of Arts in Public Health Policy.
