Dr. Kaitlyn Crosby is a health economist and Assistant Professor in the Department of Health Promotion, Social & Behavioral Health in the College of Public Health at The University of Nebraska Medical Center. She has a Master of Health Administration and was previously a hospital administrator with a large Midwest health system where she led care coordination efforts, alternative payment models, physicians’ incentives and contracting, and risk arrangements with insurers and pharmaceutical companies. Upon receiving her PhD in health economics and policy, Dr. Crosby was a life sciences consultant for several global pharmaceutical manufacturers where she led value and access strategy initiatives for assets in immunology, oncology, cardiovascular, neuroscience, obstetric and rare diseases. Dr. Crosby is dedicated to advancing research at the intersection between maternal and child health and healthcare delivery, payment models and policy.
