Ms. Jensen has worked for the Washington Health Care Authority since June 2015. Her prior work experience includes eleven years in executive management at the Washington State Department of Health, and four years as an Assistant Attorney General advisor to DOH prior to that. Throughout her career, she has had the opportunity to engage and advise on many legal and policy issues related to health care transformation, data sharing, and data integration. Ms. Jensen is currently leading a team of data scientists, analysts and epidemiologist who work on the forefront of using complex and large data sets on projects ranging from simple analytics and metric development to complex, innovative research projects aimed at using data to transform the health delivery system in Washington. Ms. Jensen holds bachelor’s degree and master’s degrees in microbiology from Washington State University. She earned her law degree from Seattle University and was admitted to the Washington State Bar in 1998.
