Dr. Laura Jean Ridge is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Michigan’s School of Nursing. She is a part of UMSN’s T32-funded program focused on Innovations in Promoting Health and Safety. Laura is the Board President of Nursing for All, which supports nurse-led public health initiatives in Liberia. She received her Ph.D. from New York University’s Rory Meyers College of Nursing. Prior to NYU, Laura worked as a nurse practitioner at Queens Hospital Center in New York City, specializing in primary care and HIV management. Laura received her M.S. and B.S. in Nursing from Columbia University, and her AB in Social Studies from Harvard College.
