Leah Schumacher, Ph.D., is an Assistant Professor in the College of Public Health at Temple University. A clinical psychologist by training, she leads and collaborates on research that aims to increase the efficacy of obesity and physical activity interventions, as well as research that seeks to increase the utilization of evidence-based health interventions in clinical settings. Dr. Schumacher is especially interested in improving health outcomes among individuals with multiple comorbidities and those from historically marginalized groups at high risk for health disparities.
