Lindsey Randall is the Summer 2025 Health Policy Fellow at AcademyHealth. She is a fourth year MD/PhD student at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. She was born and raised in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and she is a citizen of the Cherokee Nation and an enrolled member of the Delaware Tribe of Indians. Prior to starting her graduate training, she completed a bachelor’s degree in biomedical engineering at the University of Oklahoma. She completed the first three years of medical school and was drawn toward the study of patient care during her clinical rotations. She is currently working within the Knowledge and Evaluation Research Unit with a focus on palliative care and end-of-life interventions within Native American communities; her long-term goal is to practice as a Palliative physician-scientist within rural and indigenous communities while advocating for improved healthcare quality and accessibility.
