Dr. Abrams is a post-doctoral associate at the University of Minnesota College of Pharmacy, Twin Cities. She is a health disparities researcher with a focus on policy evaluation and population health. She earned her PhD from the University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Pharmacy, where she was a Graduate Research Fellow with the Institute for Research on Poverty from 2023-2024. Dr. Abrams’ work primarily focuses on improving maternal health outcomes and reproductive healthcare access for medically underserved populations; however, her additional works have also investigated disparities in access to care for individuals with chronic illnesses, disabilities, and otherwise marginalized bodies and identities.
