As the Global Public Health Librarian at University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, Mary provides consultation, training and research support for students, faculty and staff affiliated with the Gillings School of Global Public Health.
Before her current position, she was the TraCS Knowledge Management Librarian, with the North Carolina Translational and Clinical Sciences (NC TraCS) Institute. She has held adjunct lecturer positions in health informatics at Johns Hopkins and Drexel Universities. She holds a position on the North Carolina-1 Disaster Medical Assistance Team (NC-1 DMAT). Her research interests include public health, health communication, health behavior, global health, disaster management, mHealth/eHealth, and public health informatics.
