Molly Matthews-Ewald, PhD, MS, is Vice President of Social Sciences and Evidence at WhitworthKee Consulting, LLC, where she leads program evaluation, research, and business development for government, nonprofit, and higher education clients. Her research career spans more than 16 years and centers on disordered eating, weight-related teasing, and behavioral health outcomes among Hispanic and African American/Black adolescents, with more than 25 peer-reviewed publications. She served as Principal Investigator
on two SAMHSA-funded white papers addressing eating disorder treatment and the intersection of childhood obesity and complex trauma.
Dr. Matthews-Ewald brings expertise in mixed-methods and culturally responsive evaluation design. She serves as a peer reviewer for BMJ Open and Eating Behaviors and as a Review Editor for Frontiers' Adolescent and Young Adult Psychiatry section. She holds a PhD in Public Health Sciences from West Virginia University.
