Sarah Greene, M.P.H., FAMIA, is a consultant, researcher, and advocate with expertise in health systems research, equitable patient-centered care, and cancer care delivery. She serves as a Senior Advisor to the National Academy of Medicine and is a recognized international leader in understanding how to bridge research and care delivery using a learning health systems approach. Her perspectives on health system transformation are informed by her recent experience with a cancer diagnosis and successful treatment in a community oncology center.
Much of Ms. Greene’s career focused on building productive, sustainable multi-site networks that conducted applied research on cancer, aging, and communication. She was the inaugural Executive Director of the Health Care Systems Research Network and an Associate Director at PCORI, providing intellectual and organizational leadership for PCORnet®. She is a member of the National Cancer Policy Forum, Associate Editor for the LHS journal, and Board Chair for Medstar Health Research Institute. An accomplished author with more than 200 publications and presentations, Ms. Greene received her Master’s degree from Indiana University Bloomington.
