Susan dosReis, Ph.D., is Professor and Co-Vice Chair for Research in the Department of Practice, Sciences, and Health Outcomes Research at the University of Maryland School of Pharmacy. Her research focuses on psychotropic medication use among youth and disparities by age, race, and foster care involvement; use of multiple psychotropic medications; and assessing longitudinal patterns in antipsychotic treatment. She has over 20 years of research experience on medication use for pediatric ADHD. Her research has addressed policy and clinical practice impact on medication use patterns.  

Prior to this current faculty appointment, Dr. dosReis was on the faculty of the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, Division of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.  She has worked closely with the state Department of Health and the Department of Human Resources Child Welfare Agency on policies and programs that impact child mental health services.
