Syreen Goulmamine, MPH, is a seasoned scientist and public health expert dedicated to bridging research, policy, and practice to advance health outcomes. Syreen serves as Science Programs Manager at the Society for Women’s Health Research. Managing a diverse portfolio of diseases and conditions that exclusively, disproportionately, and differently impact women, she excels in program management, stakeholder engagement, data analysis, research translation & content development. With a background spanning epidemiology, laboratory management, clinical trials, and public health practice, Syreen has previously worked for and consulted at Fortune 500 companies, biotech startups, state and local health departments, and non-profits.
Syreen is an active leader in local, state, and national health initiatives, serving on the U.S. Food and Drug Administration & Clinical Trials Transformation Initiative’s Patient Engagement Collaborative, Virginia Diabetes Council Board of Directors, George Mason University’s College of Public Health Alumni Board, Randolph-Macon College’s Physician Assistant Program Advisory Committee, and the Rare Disease Diversity Coalition’s Patient, Provider, Caregiver Journey Working Group, to name a few. Syreen is currently pursuing her Doctor of Public Health (Implementation & Evaluation Sciences) at Emory University. She previously earned her Master of Public Health (Epidemiology) from George Mason University and Bachelor of Science from Randolph-Macon College.
