Tammie M. Jones, MS, FACHE, CMPE, is a doctoral student of health services research with a concentration in health policy at George Mason University. Tammie is a retired Army Medical Service Corps Officer and a board-certified healthcare executive with over 20 years of experience in primary, specialty and tertiary care settings. Her leadership roles span stand-alone clinics to a Level I trauma center. In addition to her extensive experience in healthcare delivery, she provided consulting to Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the Veterans Health Administration, and the Office of the Assistance Secretary for Preparedness and Response.
 
Tammie's dissertation research is focused on the effects of nurse practitioner state scope of practice laws on access to care in rural communities.
