Dr. Tannuja Rozario is Associate Director of Research at Everytown for Gun Safety, where she focuses on the social impacts of guns, including suicide, domestic violence, and gun violence trauma. Prior to joining Everytown, she conducted research and developed programs for grassroots organizations across New York, addressing reproductive health care and gender-based violence. Her work has been published in several journals, including Science and Medicine and Race and Ethnic StudiesShe holds a PhD in sociology from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, and she is currently an adjunct professor at John Jay College of Criminal Justice.
