Valencia Robinson is a resilient breast cancer survivor and passionate advocate. Her journey began in 2006 when she was diagnosed with triple-negative breast cancer while balancing a busy life as a high school English teacher and mother to four young children, aged 3, 4, 5, and 8. Witnessing the loss of many women during her battle ignited a deep commitment within her to advocate for others. Valencia now partners with various organizations, using her voice to champion inclusivity and diversity within the breast cancer community, amplify the experiences of survivors of color, and work towards a more equitable future for all. She is on the board of the National Breast Cancer Coalition, Florida Breast Cancer Foundation, and The Light Collective.
