Dr. Valerie Yeager is a Professor and the interim Director of the Center for Health Policy in the Department of Health Policy and Management at the Indiana University Richard M. Fairbanks School of Public Health in Indianapolis. Dr. Yeager’s recent research focuses on hospital community benefit initiatives and their work toward meeting the needs identified in their Community Health Needs Assessments. Additionally, as a member of the Consortium for Workforce Research in Public Health (CWORPH) much of her recent Public Health Systems and Services Research examines workforce topics such as recruitment, retention, and training needs of governmental public health employees.
