Vicky Vo (they/them) is a nursing and health policy student at the University of Pennsylvania. A first-generation, low-income, queer Southeast Asian and Native Hawaiian scholar, Vicky’s work focuses on addressing structural health inequities through interdisciplinary approaches in nursing, law, and public health. They currently serve as President of the Student Nurses at Penn and is a researcher at Penn’s Center for Health Outcomes and Policy Research. Their experiences span community-based research, medical-legal partnerships, and legislative advocacy at the state and federal levels. Vicky is especially passionate about improving care for historically underserved populations, with a focus on workforce equity, environmental health, and access to justice in healthcare. Vicky is committed to building inclusive systems that center dignity, accountability, and community voice.
