Meet the 2026 Health Datapalooza Co-Chairs
We’re pleased to announce that Kat McDavitt, President and Founding Partner of Innsena, and Andrew M. Ibrahim, M.D., M.Sc., Surgeon at the University of Michigan, Chief Clinical Officer at Viz.ai, and Secretary of the AcademyHealth Board of Directors, will serve as co-chairs of the 2026 Health Datapalooza. Since its founding in 2010 by former White House CTO Todd Park and leaders at HHS, this conference has convened public and private sector leaders to accelerate high-impact, data-driven health care innovation.
Kat and Andrew are titans of the health data world who bring high energy and a “get things done” mentality to everything they do. This year’s Health Datapalooza will reflect their tenacity, focus, and their passion for exploring new approaches to solving health care’s biggest problems through mainstage panels featuring government officials, breakout sessions and discussion with leaders in private sector and state government, and an opening reception to kick off the event.
Kat McDavitt brings deep expertise at the intersection of health technology, policy, and market access. She is widely recognized for her leadership in health care data acquisition strategy and the negotiation of complex data use agreements, and her work scaling novel population-level approaches to opioid use disorder. She is also founder and CEO of the Zorya Foundation, a 501c3 that provides childcare grants to healthcare workers, and co-founder and general partner of Pelium Group, investing in early-stage digital health companies.
Andrew Ibrahim brings a unique blend of clinical, research, and innovation leadership. A practicing surgeon and scientist at the University of Michigan and Chief Clinical Officer at Viz.ai, Andrew is an internationally recognized expert in health care delivery and AI adoption. He has authored more than 200 publications, testified before the U.S. Congress on AI in health care, and has worked across sectors to translate innovation into real-world impact. He previously served as Chief Medical Officer at the global design and architecture firm HOK, where he helped lead large-scale projects across health, civic, and aviation sectors.
Together, Kat and Andrew reflect the core of Health Datapalooza’s mission: advancing innovation that is grounded in rigorous evidence, aligned with patient needs, and responsive to policy realities.
