Health Affairs' March Issue: Delivery System Innovation

The March 2017 issue of Health Affairs contains a collection of papers about delivery system innovation.

The effort to attain the Triple Aim of better care, smarter spending, and healthier people has resulted in delivery systems innovation. And those innovations go far beyond the metric of dollar values. As Health Affairs editor-in-chief Alan Weil notes in his editor's letter: "Innovation at the point of care is necessary not only for improved efficiency, but also for improved quality, better patient engagement, and a more satisfied clinical workforce."

Papers in this month's issue, including several from AcademyHealth members, cover a variety of issues from what is need to support innovation and how to tell if it's working to findings on innovative programs on prevention, primary, and specialty care. See the full issue here.
