Kevin Hancock has been the Acting Deputy Secretary for the Pennsylvania Department of Human Services (DHS) Office of Long-Term Living and has been in this role since December 2017. He has also been serving as the Community HealthChoices Project Coordinator since April 2015. Community HealthChoices is the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania’s initiative to convert the Medicaid-funded long-term services and supports from fee-for-service to managed care. Prior to this role, Kevin has served in operations and project management lead roles for multiple state agencies including the Pennsylvania Higher Education and Assistance Program, the Pennsylvania Department of Aging, the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development, and previously with the Pennsylvania Department of Human Services. He has worked for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania for more than 16 years.
Kevin Hancock received Bachelor’s Degrees in Political Science from the University of Pittsburgh and a Master’s Degree in Industrial Relations from Saint Francis University. He also completed the coursework required for a Ph.D. in Public Administration from the Pennsylvania State University.
